About Me

Welcome to my kitchen — where clean eating meets fine dining, and every dish honors both health and pleasure.

I’m Elena Valmont, a classically trained chef with a passion for food that nourishes — not just taste buds, but bodies and lives.

My culinary journey began in a sun-drenched village in southern France, where I grew up surrounded by seasonal ingredients and time-honored family recipes. After refining my craft in the kitchens of Paris, Tokyo, and Copenhagen, I began to sense a deeper calling: to create cuisine that heals as much as it delights.

Years ago, I faced my own health challenges that led me to explore the powerful connection between what we eat and how we feel. Through extensive research, hands-on experimentation, and collaboration with leading nutritionists, I became immersed in the FODMAP and Paleo worlds — not as trends, but as transformational approaches to well-being.

Today, I live in Northern California, where I balance life as a chef, educator, and mother of two energetic children. Here, among farmer’s markets and redwoods, I continue to blend my European culinary roots with a modern, wellness-forward philosophy.

My kitchen is a space of both science and soul. I’m devoted to creating recipes that are free from common irritants, yet full of flavor — dishes that support digestion, energy, and joy, without compromise. Whether you’re managing IBS, eating clean, or simply curious about anti-inflammatory living, you’ll find something here that feels like home.

Every recipe I share is guided by two principles: respect for the body and love for the plate. From low-FODMAP comfort food to inventive Paleo desserts, my goal is to bring you meals that are vibrant, satisfying, and deeply rooted in culinary craft.

This is not a diet space. This is a celebration — of resilience, of flavor, and of the beautiful ways food can support our best lives.

Thank you for joining me on this journey. I’m honored to cook with you.

With love,
Elena
